With six wins, six defeats and a 0-goal difference, Bristol City have been the epitome of a midtable side so far this season.
However, they have also proved themselves to be a danger to the promotion chasers with an away win at Middlesbrough and draws against both Sunderland and Leeds.
So how does Ben from Robins On Tour feel ahead of a pre-Christmas visit to The Hawthorns? We found out.
What do you make of your season so far, from the outside looking in you appear maddeningly inconsistent?
Inconsistent is probably the best way to put it. On the one hand, we are playing much better football than recent years, however still aren’t able to get that final pass off in the final third, or that final shot in the final third and obviously we all know that in this league if you don't take your chances when you're on top in games it'll come back to bite you and that has pretty much been the story of our season so far.
What do you think of your manager, has he won the fans over now?
It's a weird one, he's not under any pressure whatsoever, but then again he is starting to have questions asked due to the continuing inconsistency but I think we've just got to give him time. He spent big in the summer so needs a chance to try and work those players into the team and try to get the best out of them. Like I said, at times this season I've seen us play some of the best football in years but then in the next game it's some of the worst football I've seen in a while so I think he's doing okay at the minute, just needs to maybe take a few more risks to hopefully become a bit more consistent and try to move up the table.
